The engine was fully removed and rebuilt during a comprehensive restoration around 2011. It features dual exhausts, excellent oil pressure, and runs cool with strong pull through all gears. The manual transmission is fully synched in all gears except first, making it effortless yet engaging to drive.
Performance is further enhanced by a rack-and-pinion steering upgrade, electric cooling fan, and refined suspension, providing precise handling and a wonderfully visceral, vintage driving experience.
🏎 Exterior
The SP250’s fiberglass body is in excellent condition with consistent panel fits and gaps throughout. The car was recently repainted, giving it a fresh, vibrant look, and the body retains its classic Dart lines. Period-appropriate alloy wheels complement the design, and a new tan soft top is included, along with two tonneaus in tan and black.
🪑 Interior
Inside, the cabin has been restored using factory-spec materials. New carpets and interior panels enhance the vintage aesthetic, while the upgraded steering wheel and accessories provide a period-correct yet enjoyable driving environment.
