🧰 Description Overview
This 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 is a beautifully restored and well-sorted example of the iconic 105/115-series coupe, originally penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone. Produced in February 1969, this car represents a particularly desirable model year, as 1969 was the only year the 1750 GTV was imported to the U.S. before being replaced by the 2000 GTV.
Originally finished in ochre yellow with a black interior, this example now presents in Maserati Arctic White with a striking red-and-black interior. The result is a timeless and elegant combination that highlights the GTV’s crisp lines and balanced proportions. The body is described as rust-free and damage-free, with careful restoration work that preserves originality while enhancing usability.
Power comes from Alfa Romeo’s all-aluminum, twin-cam 1750cc inline-four with SPICA fuel injection, delivering a free-revving, characterful driving experience and an unmistakably operatic exhaust note at higher RPMs. Four-wheel disc brakes and a five-speed synchromesh gearbox provide confident stopping power and fluid, effortless shifts. Handling is sharpened with Koni red shocks, sport springs, and Panasport-style wheels, giving the car an athletic stance and improved road holding.
Inside, the cabin features the highly coveted 1969-only “flying buttress” front seats, trimmed in red leather to match the rear seats. Additional highlights include upgraded inertia-reel seat belts, refreshed wood veneer dash trim, and a period-correct radio updated with modern internals for improved usability. Recent servicing within the last 500 miles includes an oil and filter change and new trunk carpeting.
